A medical technology company is creating 600 new jobs in County Cork.
Stryker is building a new 156,000-square-foot development at its facility in Anngrove, Carrigtwohill.
The company already employs more than 4,000 people across eight facilities in Ireland.
Stryker specialises in 3D printing specialised medical devices for treating bone-related conditions as well as patient-specific solutions for people with significant diseases.
The Taoiseach Micheál Martin will officially open the new development later on today.
He said the jobs are very welcome for Cork and for the south west region.
Stryker Group President of Global Quality and Operations Viju Menon said the new facility will unlock new opportunities for the company and accelerate innovation globally.
