Cold and blustery today with sunny spells and occasional passing wintry showers. The showers will be most frequent across the north and west - mainly of hail or sleet, but with falls of snow on high ground.
Highest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees in strong gusty west winds.
Met Éireann have also issued a Gale Warning with westerly winds expected to reach gale force on all coasts and the Irish Sea during today and occasionally strong gale force on coasts from Valentia to Loop Head to Rossan Point.

Staying windy and showery this evening and early tonight but the showers will become isolated later in the night and the winds are expected to ease. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 2 degrees with frost in sheltered places.
Tomorrow
Monday morning will be bright and sunny with just the odd shower. Cloud will increase in the afternoon with rain spreading eastwards. Highest temperatures of 6 to 8 degree in freshening southerly winds.
