So, Supermacs, the Irish fast-food chain, with its tasty and tempting food, is now advertising in Times Square.
Nestled above the Europa Café, the giant billboard runs for approx 20 stories of a skyscraper in one of New York's tourist hot spots. The advert tells New Yorkers, not to mention thousands of other tourists and Irish expats, that they can find their nearest Supermacs outlet a mere 2,963 miles away, but that it's "totally worth it!"
Inviting visitors to come to Ireland "for the scenery, stay for the food," the campaign has been lighting up Twitter since Supermacs tweeted it this morning, though most are just proud to remember the restaurant's roots.
The celebrated Supermacs ShnnackBox has made it to NY Times Square. It made it to Eyre Square and other squares well before that.
