The Supreme Court has deferred its hearing into whether Marie Fleming, the woman who failed in a landmark case on assisted suicide, will have to pay her own legal costs.
Counsel for Ms Fleming, who has multiple sclerosis, told the court it was seeking to have the State cover the costs of her legal attempt.
However counsel for the State indicated that more time would be needed to consider the issue. A hearing will be held in October.
