This is the Verrückt, the newly crowned tallest water slide in the world. Not for the faint-hearted, the slide at Schlitterbahn Kansas City is a nightmare-inducing 168 feet, 7 inches high or 17 storeys. That’s been certified by the Guinness World Records folks as the world’s tallest.

The video below takes you on a virtual ride down the Verrückt, which has yet to open. The slide was originally scheduled to make its debut May 23, then June 5, then June 29. Let’s hope they made sure all the kinks are worked out.

FYI - “verrückt” means “crazy” in German.
