Talks over the closure of the Bose plant in Co. Monaghan are continuing today.

SIPTU representatives are meeting with the Minister for Jobs and Enterprise, to discuss the closure of the Bose plant in Co. Monaghan.

Yesterday an agreement was reached with management to delay the closure of the factory by two months until June this year.

The closure is being postponed while talks continue on redundancy terms and other issues.

It was announced last month that operations at the Carrickmacross plant would be shut down with the loss of around 140 jobs.
