The Taoiseach has hinted that he may just be regretting his now infamous "call me anytime" remarks to business leaders in Washington.
Enda Kenny has told an audience at a US Embassy event in Dublin this morning that he is now fielding calls from all over the world.
He says he hoped it sent out a signal that Ireland is open for business.
But the Taoiseach says he is now overwhelmed with calls, not all of which "are what you might expect".
Mr. Kenny made the remarks last month during his annual St. Patrick's Day visit to the US.
He met with business leaders, in a bid to strengthen trade ties between the two countries.
During a speech to the US Chamber of Commerce in Washington DC, the Taoiseach explained his unique response to communicating with Irish citizens - and encouraged those interested in our country to pick up the phone and call him.
