The Taoiseach, Tánaiste and Public Expenditure Minister say they're unaware of any proposal for the Irish Government to take over Ulster Bank.
It follows reports the UK Treasury wants us to take the bank as part of a split of the British nationalised RBS.
In return the British Government would take NAMA assets in the UK.

Meanwhile, the Taoiseach says he hasn't seen any proposal from the British Government on a purchase of Ulster Bank.
On his way into Cabinet this morning he told our reporter he's not aware of any formal proposal on a UK buy-out.
