The Taoiseach has opened the door for independents to join a coalition after the next election.
Enda Kenny says he has been very impressed with the contribution some independents have made in the current Dáil.
He made the comments while outlining the choices the public might face in the next election.
And his comments could suggest that a deal could be reached, if independents are needed to form another government.
The most recent opinion polls show independents will probably be needed to help form a government after the next election.
Mr Kenny says that election will offer a straightforward choice for voters.
