The Taoiseach will meet with the French President and German Chancellor next week, with the latest Brexit developments to top the agenda.
Leo Varadkar will visit Paris on Tuesday for discussions with Emmanuel Macron.
He'll then welcome Angela Merkel to Dublin for a meeting on Thursday.
According to the Government, the meetings are part of efforts to 'strengthen relations and alliances' with other EU member states.
The Taoiseach says both leaders have been "strong and consistent" allies of Ireland in responding to the challenges posed by Brexit.
Speaking ahead of the meetings, Mr Varadkar said: "I will again express the Government’s gratitude for their continuing solidarity.
"We will take stock of the latest developments on Brexit when we meet, efforts to secure ratification of the withdrawal agreement and no deal planning."
As well as Brexit, the leaders will discuss other European issues such as the appointment of a new European Commission, Council President and High Representative in June.
Today's announcement of next week's meetings comes as MPs in Westminster are again debating Brexit ahead of another vote on the withdrawal agreement.
It is not, however, a third 'meaningful vote' as it will not cover the section of the agreement covering the future relationship with Europe.
