The Taoiseach has refused to take questions from reporters about former Rehab board member the failure of Frank Flannery to appear at an Oireachtas Committee.
The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) wants to ask the former Fine Gael adviser about the pay and pensions levels at the group.
Enda Kenny was rushed out of the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin following a routine Enterprise Ireland launch.
He was followed by a group of journalists on St. Stephen's Green who wanted to hear his views on the non-appearance of Mr. Flannery and whether he agreed with Mr. Flannery's assessment that the Committee was going beyond its remit.
He has previously said that Mr. Flannery should take questions over the Rehab controversy and says he is standing by that position. But Mr. Kenny refused to take questions no the issue.
His views were echoed by the Health Minister who says anyone asked to appear before the PAC should do so.
