The Taoiseach says he supports the idea of a bridge between Northern Ireland and Scotland, but we should not have to pay for it.
UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, and the DUP have previously spoken in favour of the idea.
The Taoiseach says he also discussed the concept recently with his British counterpart.
Leo Varadkar says the proposal should definitely be looked at in the future.
He says at the very least an engineering assessment should be carried out along with a cost analysis.
