Earlier today Taoiseach Enda Kenny guaranteed Priory Hall residents that the Government will help them but he will need more time to find a solution to their problem.
It’s almost two year since the residents of the apartment complex were forced to leave their homes due to fire safety concerns.
Speaking on the Right Hook Graham Usher spokesperson for the Priory Hall residents welcomed the Taoiseach’s comments saying ‘Finally after two years the government seems to be accepting that something must be done about Priory Hall’.
However the Taoiseach did not indicate how long more residents will have to wait before a decision is made and Graham Usher said ‘it’s important that this doesn’t turn into an exercise in kicking the can down the road’. You can listen back to the full interview below...
