United Left Alliance TD Joan Collins says she would still boycott the property tax, even if she risks losing her Dáil seat over it.
According to the Sunday Times, TDs who do not pay the levy could lose their seat if they are re-elected, and may have the tax deducted from their Dáil salaries.
Deputy Collins says the only way she would agree to pay the tax from July, is if the people of Ireland can accept and afford it.

She says otherwise, she will continue to boycott it, regardless of the consequences:
