With the World Cup beginning in just a month, football stickers are back in a big way. But where collectable stickers appear, petty squabbles are never far behind. 

One Columbian teacher has found himself subject to the most heinous of accusations - theft of hard-earned 'Panini' football stickers.

El Espectador reports that a young pupil in the city of Bucaramanga claims to have spotted his teacher placing confiscated stickers into his own book in the staff room. Both police and the state education department have been drawn into the controversy, which must surely be fodder for the most vicious of playground rumours.
