The first day at a new school is stressful for any student, but teachers can get nervous too. Unfortunately, one teacher's decision to gather a bit of Dutch courage before starting her new job lead to a very embarrassing situation.
Lorie Hill, who was reporting for her first day at Wagoner High School in Oklahoma, USA, was found by two teachers sitting in an empty classroom, clearly intoxicated and not wearing any trousers.
Not knowing who she was, the teachers called the police and Hill was promptly arrested.
CBS reports that though a cup smelling of vodka was found in her car, there was not enough evidence to prove she had driven while drunk. She was instead charged with public intoxication.
The high school has declined to comment on the matter, and it is unclear what kind of punishment Hill will face.
