Hundreds of cheering fans have given Team Ireland's Special Olympic athletes a heroes welcome at Dublin Airport.
They arrived in from Los Angeles this morning, showing off their 82 medals, including 26 gold, 28 silver and 28 bronze.
There was a silver on the track thanks to the relay team, while the badminton contingent claimed a gold thanks to Amy Quinn and Brian Hooper in the mixed doubles.
At the Drake Stadium in UCLA, Team Ireland’s 11-a-side footballers beat Iceland 5-4 on penalties to earn a bronze medal.
37 medals were won by Ireland’s athletes on the penultimate day of the games across a wide range of events - including kayaking, golf, bowling, equestrian, athletics, aquatics and gymnastics.
Yesterday Irish athletes won six gold, five silver and five bronze medals.
Hundreds of family, friends and fans were in terminal two this morning to support the athlete's home coming.
And they are delighted to touch down.
