A teenage boy has died in a single-vehicle road collision in County Armagh.

Emergency services were called to the scene of a crash involving a driver and a pedestrian on the Moy Road in Portadown shortly before 4.20am this morning.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The junctions at the Dungannon and Moy Road roundabout, as well as the Moy Road at the Corcullentragh Road junction, remain closed.

The PSNI is appealing for witnesses to come forward.

They are calling on anyone who was travelling on the Moy Road area at around 4am to contact them - particularly those who have camera footage.

Witnesses should contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 101, and quote reference number 412 of 16/04/23.
