A teenage girl has died in a car crash in Nenagh, County Tipperary.
Three other young people were also injured in the crash; the driver of the car, a man in his 20s, as well as two other female passengers, one in her 20s, the other in her teens, were all taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the second car, an adult woman, was also taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The two car collision took place at 6.45pm yesterday evening on the R503 at Rearcross.
When Gardaí arrived at the scene, the 15-year-old was pronounced dead and her body was taken to a mortuary in Limerick for a post-mortem examination.
The road is currently for a forensic examination and Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to get in touch.
