A man has appeared in court charged with assault causing serious harm following a fatal stabbing in Dublin.
Eric Farrell, a 19-year-old fabricator, with an address at Castlepark, Tallaght, appeared before Dublin District Court this evening.
He has been charged in connection with the fatal attack on Ionel Nicolae Diaconu at the same address on Monday night.
Mr Farrell made no comment during the brief hearing today, during which he was granted legal aid.
Judge John Hughes has remanded Mr Farrell in custody to appear at Cloverhill District Court next Wednesday.
A second young man arrested in connection with the attack has been released without charge.
