A teenage boy has been injured following an aggravated burglary in Co Louth.
Two men, both aged in their 20s, have been arrested.
It happened at a house in the Dublin Road area of Dundalk at around 1.00am on Sunday.
The two men forced entry to the house and assaulted a 17-year-old teenager.
He was taken to hospital for assessment of his injuries.
The two men left the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash and other items.
After studying CCTV, Gardaí identified the two men and arrested them a short time later.
They have been detained at Dundalk Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
