A man in his teens has died following a crash in Donegal earlier today. 

It happened shortly after 5am near Buncrana on Mountain Road at Ballinlough.

The driver and sole occupant of the car was fatally injured in the crash.

Arrangements are being made for a post-mortem examination and the road is closed for technical examinations.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
