A teenager has been left with life changing injuries after being stabbed during an attack by up to 20 people in north Dublin.
It happened in Artane last night.
The 18-year-old was attacked in a laneway that runs between the Thorndale Estate and St David's Sports Grounds at around 8:40pm.
He was stabbed a number of times, and his injuries are described as life changing but not life threatening.
Up to 20 teenagers from the local area are believed to have been involved in the assault.
They are said to have fled in the direction of Rockfield Park following the attack.
Gardaí believe footage of what happened may have been posted on social media, and want anyone with footage to come forward.
