Ten teenagers have been arrested in connection with a series of muggings and robberies in Dublin over the summer.
The seven boys and three girls - all of whom are Irish - range in age from 14 to 19. They are being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
It followed a number of searches in Dublin and Louth at 7:30am this morning.
The offences include robberies, assaults and thefts all carried out in the Dublin 2 area.
70 gardaí from several Dublin stations took part in the operation.
The suspects have been brought to various stations across Dublin - Pearse Street, Kevin Street, Kilmainham, Terenure, Sundrive Road, Irishtown, Mountjoy and Store Street garda stations.
They can be detained for a maximum period of 24 hours.
