According to the latest report from the property website Daft.ie, rental prices in Dublin increased by almost 3 per cent (2.8%) during the past three months - while the cost of rent in other parts of the country varied. 

For example, rental prices went up by just over 2% in Galway and Limerick - while the cost of renting decreased by 4%in Waterford. 

While in Cork rental prices remained largely stable. (-0.4%)
