This week marks the international Irish language festival Seachtain na Gaeilge. It is seen as one of the biggest celebrations of Gaeilge language and culture.

This year’s festival is running from 4th to the 17th of March as part of the celebrations for Bliain na Gaeilge and The Gathering.

Voluntary and community groups, local authorities, schools, libraries, and music, sports, arts and culture organisations all organise events for Seachtain na Gaeilge in their local area.

This morning it was the turn of Dail Eireann but it was not easy for everyone especially Mattie McGrath for the technical group.
