The 'first pitch' is a hallowed tradition in baseball - a ritual even US presidents are obliged take part in. But even US presidents have nothing on The Dude.

It was technically Jeff Bridges who was called up to pitch at a LA Dodgers vs Chicago Cubs game. However, Bridges decided to briefly resurrect his most famous character for the event, adding a fun punchline to the tradition.
