Several reporters informed their safety is at risk from Dublin gangs
Independent News and Media have said that a number of their reporters have been formally notified of a threat to their safety from organised crime gangs in Dublin. INM have this evening announced that An Garda Síochána have formally notified the reporters of a risk to their safety. The company say they are working with gardaí to strengthen security around the reporters and taking every precaution to ensure their safety.
Donegal chairman claims that three Ulster teams are being poorly funded
Donegal, Cavan and Monaghan, are allegedly being under funded by the GAA, according to a member of the Donegal county board. Referring to the findings of the recent GAA financial report, Donegal chairman Sean Dunnion believes that the aforementioned counties are not receiving the adequate amount of funding.

Six children killed after school bus crash in France
At least six children have been killed after part of a truck carrying rubble swung open and raked through their school bus. The accident happened just after 7.00am local time in the historic town of Rochefort in southwestern France. Officials say there were 18 people on the bus at the time. Three other children suffered minor injuries.
