The Frames marked the 25th anniversary of Dublin venue Whelan's with a special gig last night and attendees got a little more than just music.

Glen Hansard and Co treated the audience to a free bar for the entire gig.

The Frames are renowned for putting on a great show and judging by the reaction on social media they certainly didn’t disappoint their loyal fan base last night.

The band even paid homage to The Pixies (who played a somewhat truncated set on Sunday supporting Arcade Fire at Marlay Park, Dublin):

Tickets went on sale for the gig last Wednesday and sold out in just two minutes.
