Bitcoin has been making headlines right throughout COVID pandemic, with historic highs and dramatic collapses all part of the ride – but just what is it all about?
The cryptocurrency, first developed by the shadowy ‘Satoshi Nakamoto’ back in 2009, hit an all-time high earlier this year when its value climbed to over €63,000.
That’s quite a price when you consider it first started trading at less than $0.08 in 2010.
Things have fallen back quite a bit since April; however, you don’t have to look far to find those that insist this is just another dip with further meteoric gains on the way.
