Well, now it's happening.

CW has announced that a Notebook series is in development.

Based on Nicholas Sparks book with the same title, the series will follow the love story of Noah and Allie at the beginning of their relationship.

According to the Wrap, Nicholas Sparks will be an executive producer on the series.
