We're getting closer to that new year's countdown - and that resolution that haunts us each year.
But do people even take resolutions still? Yes, according to a new survey.
The Ipsos MRBI study shows that Irish people continue to make resolutions and are not so bad at keeping them.
When asked if they planned to make a resolution for 2015, 49% of people surveyed claimed they would make one.
It also found that weight loss and being healthier was the number one resolution in 2014, with 28% of those who made a resolution vowing to shed the pounds.
A further 21% wanted to get fit, 18% looked to give up smoking, 7% wanted to be better with money and 4% vowed to further their career.
The survey also showed that Irish willpower may be stronger than we think.
Of the 39% who made a resolution last year, 58% kept their resolution - with 60% who vowed to lose weight and be healthier claiming to have kept their promise, and 62% learned to get better with money.
But it goes downhill from there: 66% failed to give up smoking and 61% failed to drink less alcohol.
Just 48 hours to go until it starts all over again.
