As the summer draws to a close another milestone is upon us: The Pat Kenny Show turns 10.
A decade ago Pat pulled up a chair behind the Newstalk microphone, and has been with you through it all.

Our very first guest
The very first guest on the The Pat Kenny Show on Monday September 2nd 2013 was U2 frontman Bono.
He joined Pat to tell him about the work he was undertaking in Ghana in Africa, and spoke about plans for U2.
Michael Parkinson
Legendary British broadcaster Michael Parkinson talked through his extensive broadcasting career and his highs and lows with Pat in September 2015.
Conditions of Traveller accommodation
The conditions of Traveller accommodation were brought into sharp focus in 2015, after the Carrickmines tragedy in which 10 people died.
In November of that year, Pat went to investigate the conditions many travellers live in.
Ireland's abortion journey
Abortion was one of the country's most controversial and divisive issues of the past decade.
Pat travelled to London and Manchester in the UK in November 2015 to gain an insight into the journey almost 4,000 Irish women took that year before abortion was legalised in Ireland.
Hazel Catherine Larkin
Deirdre Morley was found not guilty by reason of insanity after she took the lives of her three children in 2021.
After the trial, Pat spoke to Hazel Catherine Larkin who shared her story of coming close to the abyss and having thoughts of killing her two young daughters during a period of extreme anxiety and depression. She told her story in May 2021.
Bill Clinton
Former US President Bill Clinton said down for an extensive interview with Pat in October 2018.
He outlined some of his concerns about the direction politics was taking in the United States and internationally.
Bob Geldof and The Boomtown Rats
Bob Geldof is unafraid of ruffling feathers and in this interview from March 2020 with Pat, he talked about the reforming of the Boomtown Rats and his enduring anger against social injustice.
Behind the walls of Mountjoy Prison
In a special report, Pat went behind the walls of Mountjoy Prison as it got ready to reach its 170th year in operation.
He spoke with prisoners, teachers, and those in charge of running Mountjoy about daily life, gang culture, drugs, and the tides of change in Ireland's most recognizable prison.

Amber Barrett pays tearful tribute to Creeslough victims
Amber Barrett scored the goal which would send the Ireland Women's Team to their first-ever World Cup.
The day after the Ireland v Scotland game - November 12th 2022 - Amber spoke to The Pat Kenny Show.
As well as talking about the momentous sporting day, she paid tribute to the victims of the Creeslough tragedy which had taken 10 lives just days before.
