Queen Elizabeth says the past should not be allowed to ensnare the future relations between Ireland and Britain.
The British monarch made the comments at a State banquet in honour of President Michael D Higgins at Windsor Castle tonight.
The Queen also says that two nations are becoming good and dependable neighbours and better friends.

She says she was warmly received wherever she went.
