Berkeley balcony collapse will not result in criminal charges

The balcony collapse that claimed the lives of six students in Berkeley, California last year will not result in criminal charges, the Alameda County district attorney has said.

Following a nine-month investigation, Nancy E. O’Malley said there was insufficient evidence to pursue criminal manslaughter charges.

Latest figures show over 1,600 children in Dublin in emergency accommodation

790 families including over 1,600 children were in emergency accommodation in Dublin from February 22nd to 28th.

Figures from the Dublin Region Homeless Executive show that 581 families including 1,201 children were in hotel accommodation.

Corey Lewandowski, campaign manager for Donald Trump, has been charged with misdemeanour battery in a case involving a member of the media. 

Lewandowski hit the headlines recently after he was accused of roughly grabbing Michelle Fields, then a Breitbart reporter, and shoving her during a Trump rally on March 8th, leaving a bruise on her arm.
