Seven wreath laying ceremonies will take place in Dublin today, at the 1916 Garrison locations which played a key role in the 1916 Rising.

It's part of a series of State ceremonial events which have been happening over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

The death of a young boy and his father in Dublin yesterday has been described as a 'tragic accident'.
