Every week, the Irish Examiner's special correspondent Mick Clifford and Kevin Cullen of the Boston Globe take a look back at the week that was both in Ireland and internationally.

With a week that saw the government already under pressure with hospital overcrowding, Clare Daly brought a Bill to the Dail to legislate for women who suffer fatal foetal abnormalities.  

Greece also proved to be quite the hot topic while Rory McIlroy settled his court battle in record time.

Meanwhile, in the States, the trial of the alleged killing of the real life ‘American Sniper’ Chris Kyle. Eddie Ray Routh, a 27-year-old Marine veteran, allegedly shot and killed Kyle. Jury selection began Thursday for his trial.

Elsewhere making the news, America's most famous news anchors, NBC’s Brian Williams, has apologised this week, after a story he repeatedly told about coming under fire in Iraq was revealed to be untrue.

And, of course, they had to discuss the Superbowl...
