style="text-align: center;">Mischa Barton and Anne Charleston, aka Madge from Neightbours joined Moncrieff for a chat that covered Connemara, Bogs, and Steel Magnolias. While many associate Barton as a Hollywood star, she was actually born in London.  Her mother is from Ireland and Barton often refers to herself as an “English-Irish girl”, despite being raised in America. Their play, Steel Magnolias will open at the Gaiety in Dublin in September and will then go on to tour with the play around the rest of the country.

style="text-align: center;">Karen brings the spirit of Nina Simone to life in the Pavilion Theatre in Dun Laoghaire this evening. In ‘Singing Nina’ Karen tells  the engrossing life story of the great legend Nina Simone, from her struggle against racism and exile from her homeland to her flamboyant and troubled relationships and her poignant later years. She came in to the studio this morning to give Tom a few of the songs she’ll be wowing the audience with tonight.
