The festival lasts until sunday and promises to be a great spectacle. If you are planning on going, the advice is to use public transport.

From 10:30am each morning until Sunday Luas Red Line services will not stop at Connolly Station. However, a full service will operate along the rest of the line. Luas will provide additional services over the course of the weekend.

Irish Rail services are expected to be very busy so additional capacity will be provided on DART and commuter services. Services from M3 Parkway will operate to Docklands Station from 10:10am until 6:10pm and services to M3 Parkway will operate from Docklands Station from 11:20am until 7:20pm. See the ‘Tall Ships’section of the AA Roadwatch website for further details.

Dublin City Council is encouraging everyone attending the Tall Ships Festival to use public transport. Both sides of the river will be full of music, fun, food and frolics. Take a stroll and enjoy the day.

The Famous ‘Parade of Sail’ on Sunday afternoon will see the ships depart to the sound of The Dublin Gospel Choir medley of sea songs! You can check out all the details at  href="http://www.dublintallships.ie" target="_blank">www.dublintallships.ie
