12-year-old Nicole Barr from Essex officially has a higher IQ than both Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking, after she aced a test by Mensa, the society for geniuses. 

Barr took the test after her father Jim suspected that she'd be a fit for the society and brought her along to sit the exam. He told Yahoo that "I was expecting her to do well. I knew she had a quick mind for working out problems and puzzles. I didn’t want to put any pressure on her, so we went for the fun of it."

That turned out to be a pretty good tactic, as not only did she get a decent score, the test showed that she had an IQ of 162, the highest possible score on the test. 

Ann Clarkson of Mensa said that Nicole's score "puts her in the top one percent of the population, so it is exceptional by any definition". 

As for the future, it seems that Barr's plan is to study to become a doctor, and that she would love to invent a new medicine. However, her father said of the achievement that "I was always proud, the test hasn’t changed anything".
