We've seen the challenges, we've seen the parodies and criticism, we've seen the parodies of the criticism, and we've even seen the criticism of the parodies.

But just when you thought there was no room left for originality in the ice bucket challenge - which has consumed news feeds and dominated the web over the last week - Irene Walsh has come out with this beautifully animated reminder that there are perhaps better things we could be doing with ice.

It may not be the first video to take this approach (the video description contains a hat-tip to Patrick Stewart's video from last week), but it's certainly the most beautifully made. And, perhaps more importantly, the only one to include a Mayo jersey...
