The Fianna Fáil leader's hit out at the government for holding back on details behind the resignation of Alan Shatter.
The Justice Minister stepped down yesterday after the Taoiseach received the Guerin report on the handling of Garda whistleblower allegations.
Micheal Martin says that they'll be debating the appointment of Mr Shatter's replacement in the Dáil today 'in a vacuum', because the full circumstances haven't been released.

Two men have been arrested after a taxi was stolen in Dublin early this morning.
A taxi driver picked up two men in Castleknock at around two twenty and drove them to Laurel Lodge Road where the he was threatened and ordered out of the cab before it was stolen.
An hour later, the taxi was stopped by Gardaí on the Howth Road and two men were arrested - and a knife was also recovered.
