Three people have been arrested after Gardaí seized just over €390,000 in cash.
On Friday, Gardaí stopped two vehicles in West Dublin and carried out searches.
A large amount of cash was found and Gardaí found even more cash during searches later on in Dublin and Portlaoise.
Two men, one in his 40s and the other in his 60s, were arrested, along with a woman in her 50s.
The trio have been detained for questioning at a Garda Station in north Dublin.
"I wish to thank all the officers involved in the operation which led to this significant seizure of cash,” Assistant Commissioner Justin Kelly said.
“Seizing cash from organised criminal groups not only removes their ill-gotten gains but also deprives them of money they would have used to fund further criminal activity, which harms our communities.”
The Garda investigation continues.
