3 men have been arrested in Cork as part of a garda probe into fraudulent insurance claims.
The three range in age from thier 20s to thier 40s and were arrested during an operation in Co. Cork. It involved members of the Organised Crime Unit and Fraud Investigation Unit along with local detectives under Operation Nascar.
They are being detained under Section 4 and Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act at garda stations in Cork.
The arrests today brings to 20 the number of people arrested as part of the on-going investigation.
Seven people were questioned back in March, one man was released without charge. Meanwhile another 5 people were arrested - and subsequently released - in Munster back in February.
