Three men have been arrested by Gardaí investigating burglaries at a number of Irish golf clubs this week.

Gardaí investigating the burglaries carried out a search in Ashbourne, County Meath yesterday and seized two vehicles.

Two of the arrested men are in their 20s and one is in his late teens.

Gardaí said the search was carried out, “following burglaries which had occurred in recent days at a number of golf clubs around the country”.

All three are being questioned at separate garda stations in the Midlands. They can be held for up to seven days.
