Three people have been arrested in connection with a shooting at a Wicklow construction site last December.

44-year-old Clinton McCormack was shot in the legs in the attack in Delgany on Thursday, December 14th.

He died in hospital five days later.

A teenage boy was also assaulted during the attack.

This morning, gardaí arrested two men and one woman in connection with the attack.

They were all arrested on suspicion of alleged offences of Enhancing the Capability of a Criminal Organisation to Commit a Serious Offence contrary to Section 72 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2006.

They are being held at Garda Stations in the Wicklow region.
