Three days of national mourning have begun in Latvia - after at least 50 people died when a supermarket roof collapsed on Thursday.

Dozens more were injured at the Maxima shopping centre on the outskirts of Riga.

Efforts are continuing to rescue people still thought to be trapped under the rubble, two days after the tragedy.

It's unclear how many people remain trapped in the ruined store.
