The three people who died in a minibus crash in County Tyrone yesterday have been named as a brother and sister and their aunt from the Strabane area.
Dan McKane, his sister Christine Duffy and their aunt Julia McSorley were all killed on the A5 Tullyvar Road when their minibus collided with a lorry.
Four other people travelling in the same minibus were seriously injured and remain in hospital.
The family had been returning home after attending their aunt’s funeral in England.
The accident took place on the busy A5 road linking Dublin and the northwest.
A long-proposed upgrade to the road has been delayed and 51 people have been killed on the A5 since 2007.
Six ambulances and other emergency services were called to scene after the crash yesterday morning.
The road was closed and police are investigating.
