Three men have been arrested by Gardaí investigating a house fire that killed a father and his young daughter.
29-year-old Anthony O’Brien and his five-year-old daughter Nadine died in the fire at Kileen Heights in Tralee, County Kerry on 12th May 2012.
Anthony’s body was found in an upstairs bedroom with Nadine in his arms after firefighters had extinguished the blaze.
Nadine’s mother Kelly escaped the fire through an upstairs window, suffering a broken leg in the process.
This morning, Gardaí confirmed that three men have now been arrested in connection with the fire.
A man in his 30s was arrested in June of this year and was released without charge with a file being prepared for the DPP.
Two men in their 40s were then arrested by Gardai this morning and are being held at Tralee and Killarney Garda Stations.
