Gardaí have launched an investigation into the assault of three men in their 20s in Temple Bar last night.

At approximately 10:05pm last night, Gardaí received report of an incident of assault that occurred on Fownes Street Upper, Dublin 2.

Three men were injured, and taken to St James's Hospital by ambulance for treatment of injuries sustained as a result of this incident.

The extent of their injuries is unknown. Investigations are ongoing.

Gardaí have not revealed the nationalities of the individuals involved.
